At the intersection of Maritime, Technology and People

Maritime runs on systems that don't talk to each other. Technology promises to join them up,  and mostly adds another silo. And the people who actually run the ships are the ones the data forgets. The work that matters sits at the seams, and the seams belong to no one.

Why ASDIC

ASDIC was the Royal Navy's name for active sonar,  not passive listening, which hears only what is already making noise, but a deliberate pulse returning bearing and range.

The work runs the same way. One connected view across your systems, records, people and open sources for the pulse to travel through. A sweep across demurrage, laycan, port time, bunker pricing and agency fees. Every return worked up as a figure, a source and a date. Then the fix, built with your teams and watched until it holds.

What I do
01
Save money

Demurrage, laycan, port time, bunker pricing, agency fees: cut voyage by voyage, proven in the ledger.

02
Mitigate risk

Exposure known, records closed, provable on demand.

03
Clean the data

One version of the truth, traceable to source.

04
Work with the people

Boots on the ground, from boardroom to bridge.

05

Fully remote, fully mobile: on the data from anywhere, on the ground where it counts — worldwide.

How I work

1 · Integrate the data

One connected view across the systems, the records, the people and the open sources — read-only, no rip-and-replace, no disruption.

2 · Connect the dots

The connections the systems miss: records that never close, spend with no owner, signals nobody joins, risks and earnings that cannot survive scrutiny — every one quantified and traced to its source.

3 · Create a solution

Built with your teams, your vendors and your partners — and watched until it holds.

One retainer — two ways to pay

Independent by design

Engagement opens with the first month paid in advance and runs monthly thereafter. The first commitment is one quarter, long enough for the work to show. The review, the findings, the fixes and the watch: all inside. No day rates, no modules, no meter running. No software to sell, no licence to renew, no commission from any vendor or prime. Retained by you, on your side of the table.

FIXED

A fixed monthly retainer. Simple, capped, done.

SHARED

A lower monthly retainer plus an agreed share of the money saved. The risk sits with me; what you save decides what you pay.

A small number of retained clients at any one time, worldwide.

Enquiries

The brief runs to two pages: how the pulse runs, what comes back, and the terms. No client is named in it.
